Electricity

We will need to understand the electricity consumption for each of your organisation's sites or locations for the reporting period. You can input each monthly consumption/cost or the annual figure. 

If you pay your electricity bills:

We can accept kWh, financial cost or meter readings, all of which can be found on your energy bills. If you do not have copies of these your energy supplier should be able to provide you with this information.

If a landlord or property management service procures your electricity:

You will need to contact your landlord or property service provider for this information. Ideally they will be able to provide you with the kWh consumption information relevant to your organisation, but sometimes this might only be available for your floor (or the whole building).  If this is the case we will need to work out your share of the total based on percentage of total floor space, desks or headcount.

If your office is in a shared / co-working space:

We will take this into account when we measure your 'rent' in Scope 3 - Procurement. 

Please note: if you do not have a full year's worth of data, please input the months you have available and we will estimate the missing data.

Gas

We will need to understand the gas consumption for each of your organisation's sites or locations for the reporting period. You can input each monthly consumption/cost or the annual figure. 

If you pay your own gas bills:

We can accept kWh, m3 (or other volumetric), financial cost or meter readings, all of which can be found on your energy bills. If you do not have copies of these your energy supplier should be able to provide you with this information.

If a landlord or property management service procures your electricity:

You will need to contact your landlord or property service provider for this information. Ideally they will be able to provide you with the kWh consumption information relevant to your organisation, but sometimes this might only be available for your floor (or the whole building).  If this is the case we will need to work out your share of the total based on percentage of total floor space, desks or headcount.

Waste

We will measure your waste either by weight or number of containers collected. This information can be found on your waste invoices, or by contacting your waste provider directly for the annual consumption.

Estimation:

If your business does not produce waste beyond usual office waste (paper and food & drink cartons) and the volume is not recorded, please leave a note next to each location or site on the sheet and we will use an estimated figure. 

Water

We can accept m3, financial cost or meter readings, all of which can be found on your water bills. If you do not have copies of these your water supplier should be able to provide you with this information.

If a landlord or property management service procures your water:

You will need to contact your landlord or property service provider for this information. Ideally they will be able to provide you with the m3 consumption information relevant to your organisation, but sometimes this might only be available for your floor (or the whole building).  If this is the case we will need to work out your share of the total based on percentage of total floor space, desks or headcount.
